- 5-7 years as a Job Superintendent or similar role, managing construction projects with increasing responsibility.
- 3-5 additional years in challenging environments like rural Alaska, mastering unique logistics, extreme weather, and cultural/community coordination.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Alaskan environmental regulations and cultural sensitivities.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and adapt to limited connectivity or resources.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel and live in remote locations for extended periods.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; Alaska-specific certifications a plus.
- Advanced acumen in use of MS Suite, Blue Beam Revu, other AEC Software as required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in rugged terrain and extreme weather (cold, wind, snow).
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
